    Hi ppl,
    i recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 1525.
Its awesome and am loving it... except one issue, i am unable to type the characters such as @,!,# etc. When These keys are pressed, some other spl characters come to the screen. How do i type them? Also how do i type the numerics without the use of <Fn> key?
    Help needed ASAP

You shouldn't be using the <Fn> key to type those characters, try shift?

As per the manual, they mention that the numerics can only be typed using the<Fn> key. so i use that
But no mention as to how to disable all these and use the normal keyboard layout... The plain vanilla Shift key
