I'm looking for discounts on a Dell Inspiron 1520.
This site has a coupon for $350 off on it, but it has expired.
I already found the $200 student discount and I am looking for more.
Does anyone know of any more deals?
    (I am in USA)

Thank you. the one from minj works, but it doesn't work at the same time as my student discount.
The one from Mat Dope doesn't seem to work at all.

It looks like I also get an extra $50 from the student site for "Receive 4% off systems priced $800 to $1600 with 1/2yr At-Home service."

In your (anyone's) 'professional opinion,' should I wait until another coupon comes out, or should I buy now?

I'm contacting a friend who is a dell reseller, to see what kind of deal he can get me.

People say it expired on the 8th, which annoys me, because I tried it on the 8th and it didn't work,

That coupon hasn't worked in days Matt Dope.

I would suggest buying now as I believe a free RAM upgrade and free HDD upgrade is available now. Plus use the $225 coupon to save as that one still works, although like you said, may not work with the student discount.

I would try it with the student discount and without the student discount but with the $225 discount and see which one is cheaper.

The $225 doesn't stack with the student discount (sadly)

cool =). for my info, did the 15% stack on the $168 or $200? it did last night but I couldn't get it working about three hours ago. Luckily I ordered last night; today I was just testing to see if stacking still worked.

Pragun, I believe the coupon stacked on the 200. Thanks for the great info by the way. Saved me money.

When I purchased my Inspiron 1520 last Saturday, I was eligible for:

    $200 off- EPP
    $50 off- EPP gift registry
    4% off- EPP
    Free Ground Shipping

Free 2GB of ram and 160GB HD upgrade.

Total price was $743 + tax.

Of course when I called to inquire about my order status, I got a free upgrade to next business day shipping, but that's another story. ;)
