    My Dell Inspiron 1520 developed a vertical line that runs down the middle of the LCD. The Vertical Line appeared just after 14 months. Research it on the web.
    Dell has had past problems with Vertical Line(s) on their LCD's

    The Inspiron 1520 is a current model.
