    Hi Friends,

I am having Dell Inspiron 1520 with True Life Screen (15'4"). Its been more than 11 months and my warranty is about to expire.

Recently i have noticed a problem in my true life screen it appears to be less bright as when it was new. Has anybody else faced this problem and if yes what are the possible solutions for it that i may apply before talking to Dell Customer Care (which is extremely painful ).

    Thanks
    Dhruva

Do you have it on the highest brightness? It may be a sign that the panel is going bad and you should have it at least looked at before your warranty expires. How long each day would you say the screen is on? Over time the screen will get more dim, but unless used for an extreme amount of time each day this shouldn't happen in less than a year.
