I did some searches and found very old posts pertaining to bluetooth issues...

Whenever I start Windows from Stand By or Sleep the bluetooth connection is hit or miss...If my bluetooth mouse does not work I go to device manager where my Dell Truemobile 355 + EDR has issues and if I shut it down/start it up it works fine.

How can I fix this, its frustrating going into device manager every other time I start up my laptop!

Have you tried updating the drivers for the bluetooth card?

I couldn't find an Inspiron E1420 from the downloads section on support.dell.com, so I chose the 1420, here's the link: Click here

If the link doesn't work, enter your service tag and go under "network" and select the bluetooth module.

You may try to disable "enable turn off this device to save enregy "

Not sure if it's related, but whenever I start my computer from sleep/stand by, Comodo AV pops up with a warning about some request change to my system, and it seems like it's always a bluetooth or myWifi related file. Odd because I never use either of these.
