    Hi.

    I need to purchase a new dvd burner/ Drive for my Dell Inspiron 1420.

    There are no drives on ebay for this model. I was wondering what the height (in mm)of the drive is.
    (And What the cheapest price of a drive would be)

    ALSO

    I was wondering If there was any other DVD Drive/ Burner that would work and fit in my Dell Inspiron 1420.

    My Pioneer DVD/CD Burner stopped working in 1420 today. It could read CD but NOT DVD. After 20+ mins with DELL Support Chart session with support staff accessing my laptop remotely, he/she agreed to ship me with replacement optical drive.
