    Dell Inspiron 1318 Microphone Array Not Working

    I have a Dell Inspiron 1318 running Vista 32 and the microphone array does not work. When using device manager, the microphone array is selected as the default and is reported as working, but it does not work in either sound recorder or chat programs (yahoo or skype). Device manager also lists the drivers as current. Any ideas?
