    Dell Inspiron -trouble w recording

    I have trouble making CDs that will play in most CD players on my Dell Inspiron Laptop. It does record, but will only play on other computers and some small portable CD players. I worked earlier this year w a software guy and he couldn't figure it out either. Anyone else have this problem? It doesn't seem to make a difference if it is set to record music or voice recordings. It is very disappointing.
