The webcam on top of my led screen keeps randomly flashing it's blue light for no reason, like it's turning itself on and off at random. Sometimes when it happens the the Dell Webcam Manager window pops up on the desktop. However, the Webcam still seems to work okay. I get a usb device popping up in the bottom right too.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is it a driver problem or maybe a hardware problem?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Removing the entries of webcam manager from startup should solve the problem. This will not affect the webcam functionality
