Hi I was looking at some of the prices that the Dell 9300 is bringing on Ebay. The only problem is they don't come with Dells support. They are new and the seller says that a 1 year warranty comes with it. Can any one tell me if I could buy a extended warranty from Dell or some where else? Is it worth buying one this way or just wait till a good coupon comes out. I wish I would have took advantage of the one last month for $800. Thanks for any help that you can offer.

u could diffinately extend ur warranty no matter where u are as long as u have a dell in that country. It's best to wait for the magnificent deals that they have once every 6 months ... i recived everything of mine for $2890 Australian Dollars ... look at my specs below

    ** Dell Inspiron 9300 ... Centrino 2 ghz ... 1 Gig Ram ... 256 Nvidia Geforce 6800 Go ... 100 Gig Hardrive ... 17 inch WUXGA screen with Truelife ... 8 x Dual DVD Burner ... Wifi **

Thanks for the responds. Where do I get the extended warranty from? Dell? I just started looking at the Dell 9300. What would be considered a once in every six month deal? I thought $800 off looked good. I had never even heard of the coupons till about two weeks ago. Thanks for all your help and time!!! Passnbyu

PS: Your computer sounds Awesome!! I can't wait. My wife said we couldn't afford one. So I told her I was going to sell some of my Snap-on tools on ebay to pay for it. Long story short. I'm ready to call Dell!! Thanks

Thanks for the info! I'm going to wait till next week to see if they come out with another 35% coupon. I think the $800 has become a standard coupon that will keep coming out over the next few weeks or so. I really don't understand why Dell comes out with these? I figure I could save about $1018. with the 35% coupon. As far as the warranty. I was going to spend the $400 or so for the premium plan which covers Accidents (spills, drops) for 4 years and also comes with a year of online training. I don't know if its worth it or not. I just want a computer that I don't have the problems that you can have with one that comes from a retail seller or computer show. Thanks Again for all of yalls help! Glen

I'm hearing a lot of people saying that they are getting huge discounts from Dell and buying their Inspiron 9300 for around $1300-$1500. I'm not sure how this is possible. I decided to go with the 4-yr extended Warranty and CompleteCare plan which pumped my price through the roof! Then, I applied the $750 coupon and the bottomline ended up around $2100.00. Here are my base specs:

    CPU: 1.6 GHZ (730 M)
    RAM: 1 GB
    VIDEO: 128 MB
    DISPLAY: 17" UXGA TrueLife
    HD: 60 GB (7200 rpm)
    WIRELESS: a/b/g
    WARRANTY: 4-year
    COMPLETE CARE: 4-year

They REALLY get you with the Warranty and CompleteCare.

I can't help thinking that I got ripped off somehow with all these people saying these low numbers. Maybe they didn't buy the warranty/completecare ? Let me know your thoughts, thanks.
