PLEASE HELP!! Hi all, I am new here and can't seem to find the exact problem I am having and hope to heck somebody can shed some light for me.

For the past few month I have been having issues with my computer which is a Dell Inspiron 1525 (laptop) - Intel Core 2 Duo - with Vista OS. All of a sudden in the middle of me doing something (usually while I was watching movies or some other videos) on it, a blue screen with white writing would appear and than the computer started to restart. First it was happening 1 time a week, but now it happens almost everyday or even twice a day.

I have attached the picture of the blue screen and the white writing on it.

    Thanks!

IRQL not equal or less can mean a million different things.

    I would try:

    - Testing with your laptop with a known good Dell 90 watt AC adapter
    - Removing your battery and AC Adapter, hold down the power button for 30 seconds 2-3 times
    - Run Dell Diagnostics to ensure all hardware is working fine
    - Hit F8 and Repair my Computer see if that fixes anything

If all the hardware passes, likely a bad driver/piece of software is causing it. Also moving to Inspiron/Studio subforum
