    Help! haha

My Dell I6000 w/15.4" SXGA screen tends to like flicker or have this large gray bar that takes up the lower half of the screen whenever i tap the LCD. and sometimes the gray bar will stay until i tap it again. do you think it's the LCD or the wire connections? like tap tap on the back or the sides of the LCD will cause the flicker or gray bar, and it's not LCD flicker like the puddle effect, it's the flicker like lines and stuff, as if it's a wiring thing. like a bad connection on the TV.

definitely sounds like some wiring issues, you can open it up, or just don't tap the screen ;)
