    New member here with a small prob.

    Boss lady was gonna trash her laptop..lucky for me she asked if I wanted it. Anyway, display was not working and she got locked out of HD with a password (unknown). Well [ :D] screen was not plugged in (fixed that!!). Still cannot access HD. Is there a way I can get thru PW prob?? Won't even boot Windows. Wanna TRY to recover data...if I can. If not....oh well. Really don't wanna buy new HD. Wondering if I can boot from CD (XP Home) and FDISK it. Someone please respond via email. Thanks.
