    I ordered my 1420 on 11/6/2007. When am I supposed to get my $200 Dell Gift Card? Is it automatic or I have to ask for it?

    its an automatic and suppose to come in the mail in 4-8 weeks from the day you have order it

    I ordered 11/11 and haven't got anything yet. For those that got it did it come in a regular envelope from Dell? I am hoping I didn't toss it thinking it was junk instead. I will call them on Wednesday if it doesn't come today.

    Hey guys. I ordered my m1330 on 11/3 and I still haven't received it.
    I called dell a few days ago and they kept transferring me.. personally, I don't see what's so hard about checking the status of a gift card..
    I never got an answer. So I used dell chat instead and the rep confirmed that I am getting a gift card and that it should arrive soon because it was my 7th week and the receipt thing said 6-8weeks.

    Guess I spoke to soon, just got mine today. Looks like an xmas card envelope with small dell logo for return address. Now to decide network hd or new mp3 player. FYI - has an expiration date of 12/08 so you have a while to use it.

    Slow postal service >_<

    I wuz thinking of getting Nintendo DS Lite (if Dell finally get arround to sending the card, that is.)

    Except they only have it availiable in gay pink color. I not sure if I wanna look gay whlie playing with my Nintendo DS Lite ^ ^. Hope they get white sometimes soon or u can exchange colors in some store or smth.

    In any case before you buy something using gift card it's a good idea to make sure it isn't over priced on their website, like some items are just $200 more then u can get from other website, so you will just waste your gift card. In case you want some of this item it may be a good idea to buy something else and then sell or somehow cash out the gift card.

    With my 200 dolllars I got:
    1. Microsoft bt 5000 mouse (FINALLY. I've been needing a bt mouse..my hand cramps up from those hours of using the touchpad)
    2. halo 2 (bleh. I know. Lots of ppl say it sucks for pc but oh well...)
    3. printer cable (need one of those :p)
    4. sony tripod (for camera and camcorder)
    5. notebook backpack (to protect my precious lappy when traveling)

    I got mine too. I got a notebook sleeve and I am going to get the Panasonic GS320 camcorder(I need to pay some extra cash on my own, however, I saved over $170 though).

    Wow. Dell.com's a-b usb printer cable is a complete ripoff. It costed me about $25 out of my gift card...
    I just found one at my local harris teeters for $2.. >_<

    Were there any dates that the promotion was cancelled? I know I ordered my 1520 on December 5th, and had seen the gift card promotion a day or two before. I'm just a bit confused, as I haven't heard anything about receiving a gift card since.

    I haven't received my card yet either, and I ordered on 11/2. I called Dell customer service and after getting the run around for seemingly forever, they told me it would arrive in 1-2 weeks. They told me this 2 weeks ago. Time to go pester Dell again.
