    Dell G7 Reassembly Issue

    I finished repasting my laptop, but tape holding the fan in place folded in half. This created an issue where I'm trying to screw in the fan, but the screws on top won't align.

    Here's a picture. As you can see the fan doesn't stay in place and can fold back

    I fixed your link but am still confused as to what you mean by the tape folded in half. Are you talking about the fan being flipped? Can't you just fix it so the tape is correct?
