As title.
Basically if I switch to the balanced thermal profile (not balanced power mode) either in bios or within windows itself via Alienware command centre the prochot value (seen in throttlestop) changes from 100 degrees to 93 degrees. Once it's set that's it until a restart. For example if I now set thermal to performance from within AWCC and then restart my prochot value will be 100 degrees again.
I just find it odd that Dell would do this as it doesn't do it by changing to the quiet or cool modes just the balanced.
Is this normal behaviour or a bug?

Lenovo seemed to be the first company that decided to start randomly changing the PROCHOT temperature. I am not a big fan of any manufacturer doing this.
This is the reason why I added Lock PROCHOT Offset to the Options window in ThrottleStop. Check PROCHOT Offset and set it to 0. Check the Lock PROCHOT Offset option and then your PROCHOT temperature will not change until the next boot or the next sleep - resume cycle. If ThrottleStop is running in the system tray, it will lock it again as soon as you resume. Problem hopefully solved.

Dell G5 5500 prochot value changes from 100 to 93 by switching to balanced thermal profile. Normal?
