Hi, does anybody know if there is some way to set F1 to F6 as function keys and F7 to F12 as multimedia keys at the same time?

This would solve all my problems as I only really use F1 to F6 in windows and would like to be able to use the multimedia keys at the same time without having to change the function key behaviour in windows mobility center.

The only options so far are to set the entire function key row to either multimedia or function key first.

What about half and half? The first six as normal function keys for help, rename and refresh etc., and the last six as multimedia keys.

While there is no easy way, there are some ways using AutoHotKey (which I use for similar things). Using the FN key is far far more complicated than using the Windows Key, or Alt, Ctrl, Shift, etc. I would suggest you look into using AutoHotKey for that functionality but go with using the Windows key for what you are looking for. Good luck!
