I just cheked the Dell website for 1420, 3days back my heavy system configured near to 1500$ but now bec of free 2gb and free 160gb harddisk it came down to $1100
Its a breathtaking offer, i just wana u to predict to which time limit this offer will be valid, for a month or few weeks, will the prices will go up (any chance of free ram and harddisk are turned off)

The notebookreview.com deals page says that the coupon for the free RAM and hard drive upgrades is good through July 19. I know we're not applying a coupon ourselves to see the deal, but that's the date I've been using in my planning.

Aren't these "free upgrades" usually not free? In alot of cases they say free on those components but charge you more in different areas. Pretty much with Dell then the price stays about the same, unless you use a coupon.

No, they didn't raise the prices of any of the other components. It seems legitimately free, at this point.

damn!!! :( i thought it would stay for atleast 2months, by the time i would get money to buy this i would loose this option, b.w they are not charding extra or compensating the free stuff prices in other components, right now its totally free, bec the same configuration which costed me 1550$ now cost me just 1200$ i hope i can avail this but just cant make my mind deciding b.w either to buy low configure M1330 or heavy 1420... its style vs performance..
