On my Vostro 1500 the round dell emblem on the top of the notebook has like peeled away the plastic. Is there like a plastic covering on it that I can take off?

It almost looks like it rubbed against something. Would Dell send me a new one? :)

I know, stupid question, but it is bugging me :(

they have a plastic covering that looks like tape almost. it is shipped like that to protect the emblem from scratches and stuff. you can take it off with no problems.
