I'm trying to figure out how to make the most out of the purchase I just made. I recently heard about some people getting 10% off with either an EPP or MPP and then another 10% with a holiday coupon and then 4% off with a DPA account and I'm not sure if that was all added up or if it was because they were an employee or what. I think it probably didn't add up because I was reading about seperate people getting these seperate deals but I'm wondering what deals the average joe should seek out when making a purchase in the next few days.

I am also wondering what the MPP is? Do you have to be an employee to participate in that? Thanks

basically, you need 3 year warranty and $800+ configuration to have 8% epp.
$1600+ will give you 12% but might not be worth it.

Are you saying I can get the 8% or even 12% epp even though I am not an employee? The XPS 1330 I configured and ordered yesterday was slightly over $1900 including tax yesterday. Were I able to take advantage of an EPP discount like you mentioned and or a holiday discount I would add that to my order or cancel and get another one exactly like it in order to have a much reduced price...

Yeah I dont see through all the discounts, either.
I know, I could research all that stuff, but would someone safe me the effort who knows rather much about that discount stuff and explain it in a simple and quick way?
    Thanks a lot

I agree, not bad at all. The question is, how? For the MPP discount are you a student or employee or is it even neccessary to be either of those things? Same for the holiday discount? All I see on the website requires you to be a part of some organization or another. Is this stuff available for anyone through any links that I'm not seeing?
