Hi, I was wondering if someone with the same LCD, WXGA+ (1440 x 900) no True Life, could help me adjust the colors on my laptop's LCD. I tried putting everything to default colors, contrast, and brightness but the blacks don't look black or other colors don't look the same as my CRT. I also have a couple of dark blemishes on the bottom corners of my screen. Thank you.

LCD's don't have the same color gamut as a CRT. Without color calibration software and a density puck it's hit or miss using the old eyeball. Pure blacks are tough on an LCD, again CRT's rule here as well.

I would try to set a white point using photoshop and adjust color hue to best match your CRT to the LCD. You might search for web based calibration profiles for your WXGA+ screen.
