I recently formatted my harddrive and reinstalled Windows XP and drivers using the CDs that Dell provided me when I bought the computer. Unfortunately, now the media control buttons on the front panel (i.e. Play/Pause, Skip Forward, Skip Backwards, and Stop) no longer work. The Mute, Volume Up and Volume Down buttons function properly. Does anyone know what driver I require to get the play buttons working again? Thank you for your time.

Hi, try searching for "Media Direct" on how to do a clean install while preserving the front panel button functionality.
