I was reading a review on epinions on the dell e1505. It stated that the ATI x1400 video card automatically pulls 128MB of system RAM to go along with the onboard 128MB of RAM on the card itself. Is there any way to turn this off in the bios so that the card will just use the dedicated RAM on the x1400 itself?

Darn!!!! Sorry I posted this in the Hardware components forum instead of the Video forum. Sorry about that! :(

I had the exact same question and learned that it only pulls Vram when needed.

Does that mean that you can turn that "option" off so that it will never pull RAM from the system RAM?
