    Dell E1505 Microphone problems

    The microphone input on my Dell E1505 no longer works. Have tried all the suggested fixes and have verified the microphone is not defective. Does anyone have a fix?

    Welcome to notebook review,

    There is no microphone in the E1505 chassis. I have stripped my E1505 down numerous times. There is no microphone on it, and there is no mount for one.

    You would need to buy an external microphone in order to record sound.
    I use this one from Logitech, paired with Audacity to record sound
