    These are of course servers. Dell doesn't even make desktops with dual processors. I think we may see a dual core notebook, but a dual processor notebook is senseless with current technology.

    Um yeah.........a dual processor notebook for what purpose???? to have the shortest battery life possible>??? Sillly rabbit......tricks are for........no no......I won't do that.....Im sorry chazzy......it just doesn't make sense to me thats all

    Like Brian and the article say they tend to agree it's not possible at this point of notebook technology, I just put on what the guys near the top have to say. If you read the article there is a caveat emtor AKA let the buyer or reader in this case beware, that this a post and they can't be held as they say they are not liable for posts they put on.     duel processors are coming in the form of duel core packages. basically, amd and intel are finding it harder and harder to crank up the mhz (which requires moving transistors closer and closer together). the problem is that as the space between transistors decreases there is more heat to remove from a smaller place. so, duel procs is one way to scale up. who benefits? multitaskers and gamers. it is easy to extrapolate that duel procs will do for physics and ai what what the gpu did for 3d in game applications.
