The driver disk that came with my E1405 seems a bit old, it doesn't even list the E1405 as a computer. Like 10 things didn't get reinstalled during a clean windows install. I managed to get the ethernet jack installed and then I had to go to dells website and manually down everything else. What is up with that? On a side note when I put in my service tag on the choose your PC. It says it doesnt exist.

Also what is base system device? Got 3 in the device manager listed as unknown.

You are missing the driver for the SD card reader

Install the Ricoh R5C832 driver under the chipset section and it will be fixed

The exact same thing happened to me, I'd already downloaded everything and was just going to use the CD to make sure I had everything but I managed just fine.

It also said my service tag didn't exist.
