I'm for sure getting a 9100, but i'm waiting to see if a good deal will come along for them. I was wondering if any of you knew if dell would be offering another good discount before Aug 15, like the 20% off deal or something along those lines.
    thanks
and if any of you would like to warn me off of the 9100, please let me know of any major problems with them.

Dell will certainly be running discount codes and we'll post them when we get them from Dell. Don't get too hung up on the 20% off coupon code though. Sometimes the 10% off coupon codes combined with free upgrades and instant discounts amount to better deals, so just keep track of all that's included in their offers.

One more question about the 9100, does the 512 mb ram come with 2 256 or just one 512? also, it only has 2 slots like most other notebooks right? thanks

Yeah don't worry too much about the 20% off. I almost bought my laptop on the last day of the 20% coupon a couple weeks ago but decided against it, and I am happy because I ordered it last week and the price is basically the same with the 10% coupon because they discount alot of other things off. When a 20% coupon does come out you can be sure that they will remove most of the free upgrades they have now, so go ahead and choose everything you want and put in the 10% coupon and you might be surprised at how low the cost is.

    mind the gap
