Dunno but you should never buy SSD's from Dell anyway.

1 it could be a different brand, i.e. different speeds.
2 It could be a promotion to the people buying dell products from the Dell Canada site.
3 I am ordering a laptop from dell, but with a 500gb 7200rpm hdd, which i am going to upgrade to a SSD later. It is worth it buying another one off ebay, or wherever you want to get it from, even though dell do 'hardware tests' of all the harddrives so that they are compatible with the laptop.

    Hope i helped :)

    - Don't buy SSDs from Dell. Buy them yourself.
    - Avoid the XPS 15z, it's known for mediocre build quality.
    - If you must get the XPS 15z, then make sure you get the 1920x1080 display. Buying the XPS 15z with the 1366x768 display is a waste of money on so many different levels.
