I Installed windows 7 two days back and almost every thing is working fine except "dell diagnostics Utilty".

I am not able to install it on my hard drive. I downloaded it for my Inspiron 1525 after entering my tag but when ever i am trying to install it, I am getting error 711 andd 721... Partition not found or corrupt like error i am getting while installing Dell Diagnostics Utilty.

Is there any way to fix my dell utility partition or i forget to install it? Is this problem happening due to i am installing vista's dell utlity which i found in dell driver and downloads (No Option for windows 7).

I am very sure that i have dell utility partition in my hard drive coz during installation i saw that which was of 40 MB partition .

Can any one help me by guiding me to fix my partition or why i am not able to install Dell Diagnostics Utilty?

By installing windows 7, you change the partitions, mft, etc.

Just boot the Drivers and Applications DVD that came with your system and that will run the diagnostics.

Having the diagnostics on the drive does nothing anyway, except take up space ;)
