Dell Delivery Time

I have ordered Dell laptop Inspiron on 23rd November but tracking shows pending for last 13 days. Dell customer services saying it is still in Transit, syncreon saying "Talk to dell as they may have not physically shipped". Don't know whom to believe. Is this delay due to Xmas shoppers?

Has anyone ordered Dell laptop recently and got delivered?

 

Vru, This happens with dell. I ordered my 24" touchscreen and in the beginning, it showed approx. a week shipping time to me. Then, about 4 days later, they showed a delivery date of Dec 23rd....I was like WTF? But after talking to the agent on the phone, they assured me my monitor would be here at the original date, and it was! I am not sure on the china postal/shipping systems. But thats my experience with Dell in Canada. Hope you get it soon!

Thanks for sharing your experience with Dell. The problem is nothing has been updated for my order yet. ETA is still showing 4th of December. If Dell doesn't know where it is, how the hell we can track.But they took my money immediately after I made the order.

Neither Syncreon UK/Dell Order support know where the item is, how the hell does customer know. I feeling of cancelling the order and get a laptop elsewhere, so frustrating...

same thing most times. You should see it any day at all now. If it's like over a week late...put in a non deliver claim at whatever courier / postal service they used!

Same situation here.
I've ordered my laptop on the 24th of November. During the order the delivery date changed every step of the process.
The dell website said my laptop was shipped on Dec 2nd, the customer service told me dell shipped it on Dec 5th. Originally I would have received the laptop yesterday, but than again customer service told me it would take approximately 10-12 extra working days. I hope i'll get my laptop this year LOL.

What bothers me the most is, Dell here in The Netherlands doesn't update the delivery information, like my orders status is shipped from Dec 2nd. If I would buy a pair of shoes here I could trace my order every step of the way.... But not with a 1000+ Euro laptop....

 

They work the same all over really. Their tracking timelines are wacky..but usually are what they tell you on the phone....
