    Hi there,

I am looking at the Inspiron E1505, and there are some great deals on the Dell website that end tomorrow. My question is does Dell have deals like this all the time? Configured the way I would like, my E1505 would come out to less than $1200 with free shipping, too.

I would ideally like to wait so that I don't have to put it on my credit card. But I also don't want to wait months for another deal like this to come around.

    Thanks a lot!

Will another deal like this come around? Probably. Will it be many months from now? Probably. This is a great opportunity to get a laptop (my e1705 is on the way), so if you really want one and don't want to wait, get it.

I also recommend buying it now.

I bought a e1505 today with these specs for $1285 (before tax) with a $750 off coupon found on this site:
    1.66ghz Core Duo Processor
    2 gb RAM
100 gb 5400 rpm hard drive
    ATI Radeon X1400 gpu
    15.4" wide-screen XGA display
    Windows XP Media Center edition
24 months of PC Cillin software
    DVD-RW Drive
    Intel pro a/g wireless card
    9-cell battery
    1 year at-home service warranty
    Netgear 4 port 108mbps router

The coupon expires tomorrow. I highly recommend purchasing a $2000+ laptop tonight using this coupon. It is a great, great deal.

Thank you both for your responses.

I've missed the boat before on other non-computer related sales, so I decided to just indulge myself on this one (wasn't hard to do with the coupons!). I ordered it tonight!!

Thank you for helping me confirm my decision.

    Congratulations!

I know what you mean by "missing the boat." I was completely caught up between different opinions between waiting for Vista and going for XP. In the end I decided to go for XP, however by that time Dell had pulled the plug on the Nvidia cards in their 9300/9400 models.

Now I'm waiting for the next offer.....

Have fun with you new laptop!
