Yeah, I formatted my M1330 after I received it, now I want to activate my DataSafe account. Where do I download a copy of it? As far as I can tell, it's not included in my Drivers&Utilities DVD...

Yeah, but that takes you to a configure-for-purchase page.

    KOPIED FM KHRIS:

Called XPS Support to help me with this however I figured it out myself since they had *NO* information whatsoever.

    Here's what you do:

Go here https://www.delldatasafe.com/ and sign up for a new account

    1) Choose the option that was included with your order (mine was the 10GB for 1yr) and click the TERMS & CONDITIONS button.

    2) Accept the T&S and click ACCOUNT INFORMATION

    3) Enter your personal information and click CONFIRM ORDER

    4) Confirm the information is correct and click SUBMIT ORDER

On the CART SUMMARY page, simply close it and do not continue any further since this is already included in your original order.

You should now have a confirmation email with an ACTIVATION link on it. Click this link and enter in three pieces of information, your Email address and password you just setup and the Order Number from your ORIGINAL Laptop order!!

Once you've got that confirmed you will be presented with a download link for an .msi file.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

Here is what you do and maintain any free service that came with your dell PC....

Log-in to your datasafe account and click on HELP. Then click on the Download Client link on the right. Thats It!

Uhhh....is there any way to get datasafe working on vista x64? I've tried it on my desktop and m1330, both of which have vista 64-bit, to no avail. However, it runs just fine under an XP pro 32-bit VM..

    Any thoughts on this?

My xps m1330's supposed to come with the 10 GB datasafe service. I got 3 replacements from Dell and I tried all 4 order numbers and none of them worked.
