The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does anyone know if Dell DataSafe can be used to transfer files from a old notebook to a new one? Does the Restore function only restore to the original place it backed up from?

    Second question- Can I have Dell DataSafe running on 2 pc's (1 tower 1 notebook) under the same account? So when I do work on my tower I can back it up to DDS and retrieve it from my notebook and reverse.
