OK - so here is the story. My wife, college student, needed a new laptop. Went online and bought herself a new 1525, got the instant approval for financing and got the DPA account. Approved for $2500 of which she used $1700 and change. So, according to their own site this is a revolving line of credit, can be used to make other purchases, etc.

So, now to make this part really short - she goes online to buy a printer. There is no option to use her DPA account number. After almost 6 days of absolute fustration and about 14 different people who seem to know absolutely nothing and a letter of complaint she has been told the following:

Yes - she has a DPA account with a balance of $700 and change
No - cannot order direct online with that account

With any NEW purchase she needs to reapply for credit. HUH? WTH they talking about?? According to their own site she should be able to use this balance, to which they even confirm she does have. But she has to apply for more financing to buy something??

This makes absolutely no sense to me. Can anyone shed some light to us on what exactly is going on with these guys? Is this the way it is for others who have the DPA account? If not, how do you use it to buy more items on the remaining credit??

    Thanks!
