I currently have a dell D600, and it has a docking station. It seems like the Latitude's all use the same docking station, can anyone confirm the one I have for my D600 will work with the D820 if I get one?

It depends on what docking station you have. There are several that are offered, but most are compatible with multiple latitudes. Here are all the docking stations offered by dell:

If you click on the specific one that you have, it will give you more information about that station. In the right hand column, you'll see a list of latitudes that are compatible with that specific docking station.
