    I have a Dell D820.
It's lists a card reader just under the pcmcia slot.
There is a very small slot betwen the pcmcia slot and the top of the hard drive cover.Just as wide as the pcmcia slot but only about 1 mm high.

Is there something that plugs into that that like a external box that the cards plug into?
What kind of cards fit in that?
I cant find much info on how to use it.
The online pdf manuals just says it's a card dreade.

To be more specific...it's a SMART CARD reader. It is design for security use to prevent unauthorized use. My D600 has the same smart card reader. No SD, MMC, MS, etc. ONLY SMART CARD.
