Hi all. I just got my Dell laptop. It's rather fast, but I'm sure there are other ways to make it faster.

Any one have this laptop/or have suggestions for me.

    Best,
    Ilham

Hey, I just got mine yesterday and love it. Check out the forum I opened up and feel free to post anything you think may help D630 user's out.

As for booting up, I went ahead and wiped out the minimal bloatware that came with mine (e.g. Google toolbar and Gadgets). Also try disabling the number of start up applications, because I know there were a few that I took off and sped mine up a little.

If you're not familiar, just go to Start...Run...Type "msconfig"...Hit enter..."Startup" Tab...Uncheck any program you don't wish to startup with your boot and then Restart. Hope that helps. Maybe others have more complicated tips...
