I have a brand new Dell D630 which I bought in the US from Dell Small Business and I ran out of time to return the laptop so I'm just going to sell it and I have a question about being able to sell it to an international buyer. It only has the 3 year limited warranty instead of the 3 year on-site warranty and from what I've gathered you have to have the on-site one in order to transfer ownership to someone outside of the country in which the laptop was purchased correct? Can an international buyer have the warranty upgraded to on-site and then transfer? Can the international buyer have ownership transfered to them if they have a residence in the United States in order to get warranty service? I'm just wondering if it's possible for me to sell to someone outside of the US and them get any warranty coverage.
