    Hey I havne't had any problems with my D610, except that the mic jack doesn't seem to work, I know I have a working mic and it is turned on but there is no sound and the sound hardware test fails for voice.

    so has anyone else seen this issue? and if so what did you do about it?

    If the 90/90 Diag test fails on MIC, then you know for a fact that this mic is bad and it needs to be replaced. However, one thing you might want to check is that the MIC is enabled in the bios. If you don't know how, restore all bios setting to default and that should do the trick if there is no physical damage on the MIC.
