So I picked up a Dell D600. Pentium M 2.0, 512b ram, Ati 9000 32mb for $260. Added another 512 stick off New Egg for $30. Threw a copy of XP Pro on it, and so far it runs like a champ. Plays COD multiplayer fast as all getout, which is one of my fav pass times at work. I recently noticed however that after being on for a few hours, then playing COD online, the game lags up after about a half hour of gameplay. After quitting the game, my windows application windows move sluggish as well. I figure this is the onboard ATI video cutting out due to heat. Hard drive gets a lil hot under the palm rest, but it doesnt seem like it's throwing massive amounts of heat out the fan. Any suggestions for a possible fix for this? Everything else runs fine, and it still has about 230 days of Dell Gold support. Thanks!

The fans might be clogged with dust as that's a reasonably old laptop now. Take it apart and check the fans are ok and there isnt any dust buildup. Or at the very least get some compressed air and blow it through the intakes.
