Hello, and thanks in advance for any assistance! I will try to describe the problem as best I can...
I have a Dell D600 that I bought refurbished and without a warranty. I have had it for around 2 months with absolutely no problems of any kind. Last night I was using it as normal, closed it when done, opened it this morning, and the keyboard is not working properly.
When you try to type something (in notepad for example - but it happens no matter where you try to type), they keys will either be unresponsive, or will type out a random string of characters (for example, I press "r" and it will type something like "asudhv"). Sometimes it seems to get stuck and will type out a long string of one letter. I don't think it is just a dirty keyboard because NONE of the keys work properly.
I removed the keyboard and made sure that it was connected properly (unplugged it and replugged it - blew into the plugs). I also tried messing with the Fn key - no help there.
Any help would be very appreciated!

I also updated and ran Adaware in case of a keylogger or spyware - all it found was a few cookies (which I removed). No help there either...

I booted into safe mode and the keyboard worked fine...
Then I booted back to normal mode and it still works fine...problem solved I guess
