    Hi,

Someone have experience with Dell Latitude D531 notebook? I would like to read some reviews.

I am looking a new notebook but not sure (yet) about AMD Turion 64 x 2 Mobile TL60 (2.0GHZ/1MB) or Intel Core 2 Duo?

I will use my notebook for writing text and edit images.

At the moment I have one offer from Dell with D531 with WXGA+TrueLife (1440x900) screen 120 GB 7200rpm SATA hard disk any 2.0GB/667MHz memory etc. The only matter is AMD. Is that good one or not?

    Thanks!

Hopefully a lot of those issues are isolated to the one unit. I'd be curious to see if those software problems went away with a Windows reinstallation, sounds like something's wrong with the Dell image.

And at least battery life seems to be very good, comparable to what users are reporting for the D620 with integrated graphics. A few more reports of decent battery life with like this one and the HP Compaq 6515b could turn perceptions around about Turion X2.
