Every time I attempt to enter a chat session, whether it be in the morning, afternoon, evening or even midnight... I always get the message that there are no available reps to chat with. Anyone else get this? I've been trying for the past 4 days.

I've had no luck with it either. The technical support one works fine, but the customer service one is virtually unaccessible (unless I just get very unlucky).

its sometimes easier to chat, since theres no problems with accents/call quality(phones == mono....), though using chats may mean that CSRs are talkign to many people at once, and takes some time to resolve any issue

I got into a chat and got a deal on the Vostro 1310 I ordered last Thursday. I never tried connecting before. Something popped up while browsing letting me know I could talk to a rep.

It wasn't much of a deal, but he configured it in a way that was impossible to do on the site without increasing the price by way more than the upgrade was worth.
