    Hey all, I've been reading the forums on this site since forever, just registered though :p. I had a question regarding the makes or brand names of the dell components such as the hdd, ram, cd/dvd writer, speakers, lcd etc does anyone know what companies supply dell with those components?
    if it helps its regarding an Ins. e1505. (On its way!!)

    Core 2 Duo t7200 @ 2.00 Ghz
    1 GB ddr2 533 mhz sdram
    120 gb 5400rpm hdd
    nvidia 7300 go tc 256mb
    windows mc edition
    cd/dvd burner
    15.4" lcd xga with truelife

    already got it and yea forgot to mention, intel pro wireless + bluetooth. in other posts i see the hdd as seagate not toshiba which one is it? and what about the ram and lcd and speaker makes?

    Uhhh, what? I don't think that's quite the answer that Outsider was looking for.

    Outsider, Dell buys from several manufacturers, including Hitachi, Sharp, LG, Samsung, etc, etc. You can't be sure exactly what you'll get.
