I bought a Dell M6400 from a Dell Registered Partner, have a 3 year Dell on-site warranty and had a question about the slim adapter.

I tried to log back in only to find out that I was no longer able to use the chat service since the person locked me out.

Contact a Dell Rep directly, to find out what is going. The system may have been having issues when you logged back in.....thus, not enabling your ability to use Chat at that time.

I contacted the Dell Registered Partner that I bought it from and they fixed everything - at least until I try chat support again.

That kind of service is just uncalled for nowadays - hanging ups, banning from chat services without explanation, etc.

Well, at least you got some resolve, and the Dell Reg. Partner handled things.

I agree, as a consumer things like this shouldn't be this hard. I hope going forward things are good for you!

I called Dell Customer 'Care' yesterday. I must have pushed the wrong number or something because I immediately talked to someone who needed to transfer me. She did - to someone who also thought i needed to talk to someone else. You get the picture?

In all, I talked to 6 different people before the last guy transferred me to a busy signal..... i.e. start over.

I've always had much better luck with chat over phone calls.
