Tonite I recently tried to use Dell Chat as my touchpad stopped working. I put in my service tag which has a valid warranty and a window popped up stating that my warranty has expired. I tried my other systems and this happened also, therefore I am assumming that it is a dell problem. Is anyone else having this problem also or am I just the unlucky person. Thanks in advance

This is a Dell problem. Try again in a few minutes. Also try clearing your cache or using another browser.

I've had the same problem for a month or two on my laptop. I got a little tired of it and I just call Dell now. They haven't fixed it after I've complained a lot.

It was happening to me too... I was too lazy to read my manual about some Ethernet capabilities, so I just wanted to talk to a tech. Then it tells me my warranty expired, which wasn't true... so instead of going to regular chat through the tech page, I went to Dell chat, selected "Help for a system I already have" typed in my service tag, and it worked...
