    I haven't seen any coupons or really any deals for this notebook, but I called and spoke with a few different reps and found one who is giving me a decent price and the configuration that I want. Just keep trying to see if you can get a good rep, do you have EPP?

    most of us just used some kind of educational or employee discount, which got us 7%.

    It is through my EPP as long as I buy the 3 year complete care warranty, but the sales rep gave it to me with only buying the 3 year warranty

    Hmm, EPP is normally only 7%, and VERY rarely the sales rep will go above 10%, so you are lucky! :D

    Online store pricing is 2-12% below the Dell Home Sales pricing, based on warranty and configuration this is this is what they base the discount on. He was only going to give me the 7% off because I didn't have the complete care but he said he would give me the same discount the other rep was going to give me. So yes I was very lucky :D

    I was also able to get the backlit keyboard, and upgraded the cpu to 2.4ghz and change the 36 month mcafee to the microsoft office teacher and student as they were the same price.
