Hmm just a question to see if anyone had this situation before and how you would deal with it.

I got my m1530 two weeks ago and now we have a discount of $359, although after comparing for what i have paid and what it cost now there is only around $200 difference, do you think i could get a credit for that from dell?

Also the notebook was shipped out on the 28th so i guess i have till jan 28th to make my final decision because of the 30 day satisfaction thing.

If you like/love the condition/build quality of the laptop you received, then try and get your $200 difference by calling India.... ah, sorry, dell support. If you do not like the condition of the machine you received, call and ask for a complete return due to reasons of poor quality, yada, yada, yada, get your money back, then try and buy another one at the reduced price.

    Buda :)

Yeah,,,,from all the posts that seems like the only way ...is to return within the return policy window and order another system...a pita yes but I think that's the only way...
