There seems to be a huge lack of Canadian coupon codes and E-value codes. I'm looking into buying an Inspiron very soon, hopefully this week, and it would be awesome if I could get a better deal. Can anyone help me out?

None of the coupons work for Dell Canada Inspirons. None of the E-value codes work either :(

I've tried these already, to no avail.

I'm disappointed that savings are so hard to get. Should I buy a laptop today before the Inspiron special offer end today, or should I wait and see if there will be a better one tomorrow?

Maybe you should wait a bit. Back to school sales will definitely come early to mid August and there might be good deals

Thanks gleng! That code works, however, when I customize it to what I want (1gb ram, 120gb hdd, 9-cell), the price is only $39 cheaper than the regular special. If there was a 30% off or similar coupon code attached to that E-value, I'd jump on it.

At these prices, I'm considering getting an E1505 - my only concern is that the battery life might be significantly less than the E1405. Jun85, you might be right. I heard from a friend that Dell won't be making any major deals until near-Xmas time though. I'd like something as soon as possible, so I can start setting up my apps for the school year (dual booting suse, setting up web services, VMware, etc)
