So I'm pretty set on getting an XPS 1530 for university in the fall, but I'm seeing these awesome coupons for the US... and while the configs I make right now turn out to be around 1.6k, I see people getting even better ones for 1.2-1.3k in the US.

If I configure one on the US site and put in the codes to get the cheapest one possible, then call Dell Canada to place my order, do you think I could bargain the price down to around the lower U.S price? I sure as hell will argue my way for a lower price, seeing as the USD and CAD are the same...

I doubt you can get an m1530 for the U.S. price. You might get it a little cheaper but they won't go down $300-400. I'm sure they will come up with excuses as to why the same laptop is more expensive in Canada than it is in the US.

Yeah exactly - Try to bargain. If not, if you know someone living in the US, order it through Dell USA, and ship it to that person, and then have them ship it over to you. If you want to do this, make sure to get the three-year next-business day onsite warranty since this is the only one that is transferable internationally.

    Good Luck!
